Red Cloud Serenity Club
A Recovery Meeting Place
Mission Statement
To provide a safe place for recovering alcoholics and their families
- Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety
- We should always operate the Club to be in keeping with the spirit of the Twelve Traditions of Alcoholics Anonymous
- We should always keep it simple
- We should use the Club only for meetings and gatherings of members of Alcoholics Anonymous, Al-Anon or Alateen
- We should always maintain interior decoration and lighting to be in keeping with the historic nature of the building
- The Red Cloud Serenity Club is, and always will be, a club for AA. It is not an employment agency, not a rent finder, not Goodwill or Salvation Army . . . meaning we will not have a bulletin board listing any of the above mentioned; nor should we allow people to bring in their unwanted items for the needy
- The Club is not about making money. The Club is not a business! We are not about bake sales, garage sales, rummage sales or the like. The Club is about saving lives. The Club is a spiritual entity!
- All persons using the Club are expected to respect the Club, and what it stands for . . . and do what they may to assure that the Club remains open for the next suffering alcoholic
